Nursing Assistant Training Program
Valley Health Services is approved to provide an on-site Nursing Assistant Training program. The program is a 5 week training course instructed by a Registered Nurse to prepare students for the Certified Nurse Aide licensing exam. The program is offered 3 times a year with up to 8 students in each program. If interested, an application is available at the back of the booklet or at the nursing office located in the lobby on the first floor.

Valley Health Services offers the following health insurance plan:
Excellus Simply Blue

All plans offer pharmacy coverage.
Valley Health Services pays fixed portion; full-time employees with proof of alternate health insurance coverage may waive VHS health coverage in exchange for one week’s vacation.

EBS: Valley Health Services covers full-time employees and up to $10.00 per month fee for part-time employees.

The Hartford: Valley Health Services paid and policy covers up to double the individual’s salary.

Valley Health Services (VHS), 160-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility, is seeking:

Physical Therapist:
Full time position (guaranteed 40 hrs per week) for a NYS Licensed Physical Therapist for a Senior Care facility offering long term care, sub-acute rehab and outpatient rehabilitation services. Performance of evaluations and direct patient care in all three settings will offer you a variety of diagnoses and work experience. Candidate must possess, as a minimum, a BS in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university; must possess a current unencumbered license to practice as a therapist in New York State. New PT Grads Welcomed to Apply!

Diet Tech/Evening Food Service Supervisor: Position provides assistance to Food Service management assuring quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis, assist the RD in developing, implementing and evaluating the nutritional care plan of all residents. Monitor food services to residents for conformance with quality standards. Position supervises evening dietary personnel & works 12n-8p; Candidate must possess an Associate Degree in Food and Nutrition and be a Registered Diet Technician; 2 years experience in long term care preferred: position requires weekend rotation.

Full and part-time LPN positions on all shifts: Duties include administering medications, treatments and patient care; candidate must possess a current NYS LPN license and a CPR Certification; must be able to work independently; position requires weekend rotation.

Certified Nurse Aide (CNA): Positions available for all shifts – duties include providing routine nursing care for the comfort of our residents.

Consultant hours available for PT, OT, COTA and PTA positions in our Sub-acute Rehab and on our Long Term Care units
